Defoaming solutions for metal cleaning and industrial cleaning

Metal cleaning agents are widely used for degreasing and cleaning the surface of various metal materials.Each metal material has a targeted cleaning agent that will not corrode the surface of the material.

Metal cleaning agents are composed of surfactants and cleaning aids (such as alkaline salts), defoaming agents, and fragrances.

Causes of foaming in metal cleaners

The main reason for the foam of the cleaning agent is the surfactant.The foaming ability of the cleaning agent reflects the amount of surfactant in it,and the more content it contains,the more natural foaming.

In the common industrial operation process of steel plate cleaning and beer bottle cleaning,most of them will be sprayed or soaked with the solution prepared with cleaning agent and alkaline water.The cleaning agent contains surfactants such as sodium alkyl sulfonate and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether,which will produce a large number of bubbles during cleaning.

In the process of developing and removing unexposed dry film of circuit board (PCB), the product of the reaction between dry film and sodium bicarbonate belongs to surfactant,which can be adsorbed on the bubble film after dissolving in water, so as to form stable bubbles.

In the development stage,the sodium carbonate aqueous solution dissolves the dry film of the polymer to form a foaming system. Due to the continuous dissolution of the dry film,the developer generates foam during the system circulating spray.

In the electroplating process,a large amount of electroplating solution (common strong alkaline aqueous solution containing electrolytic degreasing agent) is required.The industrial Defoamer electroplating solution is prone to foam under the conditions of heating and mechanical vibration.In addition,common electroplating cleaning includes dipping and spray cleaning,acid-alkaline cleaning,the cleaning agent contains a lot of surface activity,and it is easy to generate foam during cleaning.
