Application Of Silane Coupling Agents In Plastics Industry

With the rapid development of high-performance and high-functional plastic composite materials, more and more attention has been paid to the research of filling modification technology. The filled composite materials are generally heterogeneous systems, and it is difficult to form a good interfacial bond between inorganic fillers with high surface energy and organic polymers with low surface energy. The application of silane coupling agent enables two materials to achieve a close combination, thereby enhancing the interface between the inorganic filler and the polymer.
